So then, how does one use said Kerberos support? I can't find any documentation in the latest SVN tree and the web configuration interface doesn't seem to have any user/password authentication fields. I'm trying to use the lame LPR/LPD Athena printing system at MIT which uses Kerberos to authenticate. I've grepped the source files and I see a lot of HAVE_KRB5 stuff but it's all in relation to ipp... Did you perchance document your project? There is only support for IPP. CUPS' lpd emulation doesn't support authentication anyway, so there was no point in adding Kerberos auth to it. |
