Note: I do not plan to do any further development on wlandetect - this page is here merely for historical interest. A good (and more complete) replacement for wlandetect is NetworkManager.

wlandetect is a very simple perl script that checks what access points and other peers can be reached and then executes some commands based on the peers it found. This utility is very useful if you often switch between various wireless environments.
